Our Story

Built with Purpose

Founded in March 2025 in Germany, SFZ Capital was created to close a clear gap in the market: institutional-grade algorithmic trading tools were either priced out of reach or required advanced engineering knowledge to operate. Individual traders deserved better.

What began as a focused development project evolved into a comprehensive trading terminal — one that handles everything from visual strategy construction to live bot execution in a single, cohesive platform. The goal was to eliminate the technical and financial barriers that have historically kept individual traders from accessing the same automation capabilities as professional desks.

SFZ Capital is independently developed, self-funded, and built on one principle: that serious traders deserve serious tools, regardless of their institution.

March 2025 SFZ Capital founded in Germany. Development begins on core bot engine and backtesting framework.
May 2025 Internal Paper Exchange launched. First live strategy backtests run against S&P 500 historical data.
August 2025 Broker integrations added: Alpaca, Binance, IG, OANDA. Portfolio Manager and Market Workspace shipped.
2026 & Beyond Expanding the platform with more indicators, advanced risk controls, and strategy analytics.

  • We ARE: A software provider — we build tools, you use them to trade.
  • We are NOT: A bank, broker-dealer, investment adviser, hedge fund, or asset manager.
  • We do NOT: Hold, manage, custody, or trade with your funds — ever.
  • We do NOT: Provide investment advice, recommendations, or financial guidance.

All trading is executed through your personal brokerage account (e.g., Alpaca Markets). You maintain full control and full responsibility for your own funds and trading decisions at all times. Past strategy performance in backtests does not guarantee future results.
